History on The Club
First opening in 1934, it was orignally known as Cadbury Heath YMCA. Ir promoted temperance, which meant there was no alcohol served until around 1965.
There were a couple of snooker tables and Mr Gingell would run the club.
1965 onwards saw Football arrive at the club. The YMCA stopped and an extension was built using a loan from Halls Brewery.
